Fw: HR 3962 - AFFORDABLE HEALTH CARE FOR AMERICA ACT

If you have a week or two with nothing to do, you can Google HR 3962 and download all 1990 pages. At $900 billion dollars it amounts to roughly $2.4 million a word. Interestingly the word "DOCTOR" does not appear in a health care bill.
Not including the table of contents, the word, "ABORTION"  appears 23 times. The term "DEATH PANEL" did not make it into the bill, but the section relating to end-of-life care remains in the bill.
HR 3962 imposes 13 new taxes. EMPLOYER MANDATE EXCISE TAX, page 275 , INDIVIDUAL MANDATE SURTAX, page 296, MEDICINE CABINET TAX, page 324, INCREASED ADDITIONAL TAX ON NON-QUALIFIED HSA DISTRIBUTIONS, page 326, DENIAL OF TAX DEDUCTION FOR EMPLOYER HEALTH PLANS COORDINATING WITH MEDICARE PART D,  page 327, SURTAX ON INDIVIDUALS AND SMALL BUSINESSES, page 336, CAP ON FLEXIBLE SPENDING ACCOUNTS, page325, EXCISE TAX ON MEDICAL DEVICES, page 339, CORPORATE 1099-MISC. INFORMATION REPORTING, page344, DELAY IN WORLDWIDE ALLOCATION OF INTEREST, page 345, LIMITATION ON TAX TREATY BENEFITS FOR CERTAIN PAYMENTS, page 346,  CODIFICATION OF THE "ECONOMIC SUBSTANCE DOCTRINE", page 349,  APPLICATION OF "MORE LIKELY THAN NOT" RULE, page 357.
If you think you wont be caught by one or more of these new taxes, you are either smoking an illegal substance or are an illegal immigrant.
Just in case my fellow senior citizens feel left out, there is still a $500 billion dollar cut in Medicare. Ain't it just grand?
