Cecil County Fair

I spent all of Monday afternoon helping to cook chicken for the Republican BBQ Chicken Dinner. It was nice to see all of the volunteers from the various Republican Clubs showing up to help. Senator Harris, who most likely be running for Congress against Congressman Gilchrest, made an appearance. He took a few minutes to chat with me. My first impression was very positive. Earlier he had talked with some other Republicans and shared his ideas about Iraq, immigration, pork barrel spending, and a few other key issues. They all liked what he had to say, they said that he seemed very well informed about the issues. Some of these same Republicans are Gilchrest supporters. Congressman Gilchrest most likely has a very serious challenge here. And here is the rest of it.
