State Sen. J. Lowell Stoltzfus, R-Somerset, said he sees this move by Pipkin as good for the incumbent, almost guaranteeing another Gilchrest victory.
"I'm not going to support Pipkin," said Stoltzfus, who has endorsed Harris. "For him to get into the race this late, it ensures he and Harris will both lose."
