Our state is at a serious crossroads.

We all want a healthy environment, strong schools, accessible healthcare, and a thriving economy.  However, the fight in Annapolis is not over that.  More than anything, the debate in Annapolis has been about which path we take to accomplish these goals.  And the sad reality is that there are a growing number of Annapolis politicians that are looking at that crossroads and choosing the path to the extreme left.  We can’t let them take the lead.  We need balance.

That’s why I would like you to meet a very special friend of mine – Harford County Executive David Craig.  He has a vast experience in municipal and state government to the County Executive’s office.  He has been elected City Councilor, Mayor, State Delegate, and State Senator.  As County Executive, David has been an outstanding leader solving many of the county’s long term problems while maintaining a balanced budget and an excellent credit rating. Also, he was elected President of the Maryland Municipal League.

Having served in elected office for 32 years, he has a list of accomplishments a mile long.  More importantly, David always puts people first.

You might have heard the rumor he is considering running for Governor.

As our state faces new economic challenges, our citizens expect leadership from their elected officials.  They expect them to make wise choices.  They expect good government, a disciplined budget, and a set of priorities that begin with curbing spending instead of raising taxes.  I strongly believe that David is the right person to lead our state during these turbulent times.
